Using a multilevel virtual machine model, the course examines the design features of some processors, focusing on the interconnections between the hardware and the basic software of a modern computing system. A fundamental part of the course is the realization of a software simulation project for the functionality of a real-life processor of the student, including the assembler’s realization.
